Leather Recoloring & Redye in Philadelphia

Faded, blotchy or stained leather brought back to one even color — or changed to a new one — on-site at your home or business across Philadelphia, Montgomery and Bucks County.

One even color again

Leather fades unevenly: the cushion by the window, the armrest everyone leans on, the seat that gets the most sun. Recoloring cleans and preps the surface, then rebuilds the color in thin layers so it looks original, not painted.

We recolor sofas, chairs, car seats and commercial seating. If you are tired of the old color, we can also change it — for example, worn burgundy to deep brown or dated cream to charcoal.

What recoloring fixes

Sun fading

Uneven, pale areas restored to one consistent shade.

Worn color

Spots where the color has rubbed off are rebuilt.

Stains and marks

Stains that will not clean out are covered with a matched color.

Blotchy finish

Patchy, uneven leather unified across the whole piece.

Color change

A completely new color on furniture you still like.

Protective finish

Every recolor is sealed with a topcoat against wear.

Recoloring FAQ

Will the new color rub off?

No. The color is bonded to prepped leather and sealed with a protective topcoat.

Can you change dark leather to a light color?

Going much lighter is harder and not always recommended. Send photos and we will tell you what is realistic.

Will the leather feel stiff after recoloring?

No. The color goes on in thin layers so the leather stays soft.

How long does recoloring take?

A chair is often done in one visit; a large sectional may take longer. You get an estimate with your quote.
